  • Terri Berkey Gonzalez

    Chairperson / Founding Member

    Experienced nonprofit and business leader with a passion for inspiring growth, collaboration, and community impact. Skilled in strategic planning, operational leadership, team development, and community engagement. Chairperson of the North Marion Senior Center,  Leader for Woodburn Free Community Meal, Greater Woodburn Opportunity Center and community advocate in Woodburn, Oregon.   Terri enjoys gardening, tennis, travel and time with her family! 

  • Nancy Kellar

    Executive Director | Founding Member

    Nancy provides leadership in program development, operations, volunteer management, and community engagement to support older adults and strengthen community connections. She brings decades of experience in leadership, project management, operations, and team development. Outside of the center, Nancy enjoys gardening, hiking, spending time with her  grandchildren, and her dogs.

  • Darlene Galster

    Treasurer   Darlene Galster serves as the Treasurer for North Marion Adult Center. She has volunteered with the center for 3 years. Her business and accounting experience stems from owning 2 successful businesses for many years. She also performed bookkeeping duties for a non-profit homeless day shelter for 2 years. She has a warm heart for seniors and the center because her mother was homebound the last 3 years of her life in another state and was unable to get to her local senior center for so

  • Becki Hayes

    Digital Manager Becki specializes in modernizing systems and improving processes to support mission‑driven non-profits by providing clear, accessible digital tools that ensure every online touchpoint reflects their values in an inclusive approach. With 15 years of volunteer service—including her role on the Executive Board of NMAC—she has developed a prototype website, focusing on outreach materials & empower volunteers strengthening community engagement.   She enjoys gardening & traveling

Our Mission

At North Marion Adult Center, we are dedicated to enriching the lives of older adults through connection, support, wellness, and community engagement.

Our center provides a welcoming space where seniors can gather, build friendships, stay active, and access valuable resources that promote independence and well-being.

We believe aging should be filled with opportunity, purpose, and belonging. Through meals, activities, educational programs, wellness services, and volunteer opportunities, we strive to create a community where every individual feels respected, supported, and included.

For many, our center is more than a place to visit — it’s a place to connect, laugh, learn, and feel at home.

We are proud to serve the North Marion community with compassion and care, and we remain committed to improving the quality of life for seniors and their families every day.
